Goodwood crowds flock to the 74th Annual Members' Meeting

It was the first day of Spring but you wouldn’t have known it judging by the leaden skies and chill winds blowing across Goodwood’s hallowed grounds this weekend. Near freezing temperatures did nothing to dampen the spirits of visitors however, who turned up in their thousands for the 74th Annual Members’ Meeting.

Warmed by Goodwood’s traditional open braziers and a blaze of golden daffodils they travelled from far and wide, and if the open fires couldn't thaw you out there were plenty of red hot engines on hand to finish the job in a spectacular display of motoring history spanning the decades.

The Member’s Meeting is always rather more exclusive than Goodwood’s other annual jamborees, the Festival of Speed and the Revival, simply because it’s dedicated to those most closely associated with the club, and all those who've participated in Goodwood's legendary racing history through the years. As a regular exhibitor at all these events, The Games Room Company is pleased to say that this year’s Members’ Meeting did not disappoint. The sights, sounds and smells of Goodwood that we’ve all come to love were there in abundance, and we were delighted to welcome many long standing clients onto the stand.

In the short video below Alexander walks us through the items on display this year, which included an incredibly rare ‘Ten Strike’ mechanical bowling machine.
