Based on the multi-award winning film, the Avengers pinball once again gathers the might of the assembled heroes to take on an unspeakable evil. The eponymous characters themselves urge you on through the battle, with Iron Man’s sarcastic asides and the occasional Hulk roar. The dot matrix display animations are many and varied, as each hero enters the fray. This ex-display table is in superb condition throughout.

Like the movie, the Avengers pinball is a loud, fun and furious affair. Drop targets and stand-up targets spell out Hulk and Thor respectively, and the spinning target is the fabled Tesseract itself. Collect the six Avengers as you progress through the game, playing through each character’s individual modes, and taking part in mighty clashes like Assault the Helicarrier and Battle for Earth, while a Hulk figurine rages amidst the action.

The highly stylised Avengers pinball is a noticeable presence in any games room – its bright lights, booming sounds and vibrant red hue ensures its ability to stand out against the competition. It’s a truly Marvel-lous machine.
