Description

A French café classic, sympathetically restored to glory

This original Finale foosball table from the early 1950s is a statement piece with serious soul.

Crafted in Montbéliard, in France’s historic Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, this table hails from the heartland of babyfoot culture. Several iconic manufacturers called this area home and Finale was among the finest. Built from solid beech and brushed aluminium, this model showcases the robust craftsmanship and mid-century flair that made these tables fixtures in cafés across France.

With its striking Art Deco-style pedestal base and dramatic panel work, this table commands attention in any setting. The beechwood cabinet has been lovingly restored to reveal its rich, natural grain, while the ebonised waistband and recessed panels now shine with a deep, lustrous polish.

Though once operated by 20 centime coins, the original mechanism has been retired. This piece is all about enjoyment, not small change. All parts are original, with the exception of two hand-distressed player figures that blend seamlessly into the lineup.

Still wonderfully playable and visually unforgettable, this is a rare find, full of history, charm and ready to delight a new generation of babyfoot enthusiasts.
