Exceptional Games Since 1962
Description
Released by Stern in 2003, The Simpsons Pinball Party is an absolute blast and this rare example has been extensively refurbished in our own workshops.
Rare though many of these machines are, rarer still are the examples which have been properly restored or can truthfully be said to be in full working order. Our highly experienced technicians strip these vintage pinball machines down to the bare bones, replacing worn parts, checking circuitry and completely refurbishing the cabinet inside and out before subjecting the table to exhaustive testing in the workshop. Over the years we’ve been fortunate enough to have gathered together a select few individuals whose technical knowledge is matched only by their enthusiasm for the task in hand, and this is why our finished tables are often more expensive than those you might see elsewhere.
Pinball fans rate this is one of the most entertaining machines ever made, with many TV modes, hurry up shots, daredevil modes, treehouse of horror modes and Itchy & Scratch multi-balls, all leading to multiple interesting wizard modes that one must then conquer to get to the Super Duper mega extreme wizard mode. Did we lose you?
Suffice to say that there's a lot going on, and with so many varied ways to get multi-balls the intensity level stays really high. Many of the modes are timed, and one can reset the timer by starting new timed modes or add time by hitting special shots.
Tellingly, one pinball aficionado writing on the International Pinball Database said that he'd waited 2 years to post his review as it took that long to experience all the levels and everything this game had to offer!
The artwork on the cabinet, playfield, and backglass are all stunningly rendered and were created by Matt Groening's own team. Simpsons fans will find a lot of little details to get excited about, and the upbeat music fits the action really well. Like the character's voices, this too is taken straight from the show.
You don't need to be a Simpsons fan to have a ton of fun with this game as it's one of those machines that really shines the more you play it. Once you learn the rules, get down the timing of the shots and work out your strategies, it takes pinball to a whole new level.
If you love the show as much as we do you'd be mad not to invest in this beautifully restored cultural icon!
The Games Room Company is one of the oldest pinball dealers in the country. Our founder, Reginald Waldersmith, played his first pinball game in 1960, and described it without irony as being “flipping excellent”. We’ve been selling pinball machines since 1962, so know a thing or two about our products! Our showroom will gladly assist you on any questions you may have before or after you purchase any Games Room Company equipment.
