Building on the success of the outgoing model, the K Steel 2 was extensively redesigned to meet new EPBF specifications in 2010, and was chosen for use at the World Team Championships in Germany, that Team GB won!
The strength and accuracy of the SAM K Steel 2 can deliver the same ultimate quality playing surface in your own games room, and this latest version of the table features sleek, flush-fitted pockets too.
The AP-11 solid steel frame is K Steel’s secret. This is of course hidden from view but underpins the quality materials secured to it. Scratch and burn resistant real Formica laminates are bonded to solid Oak top rails and marine ply décor panels.
The diamond honed, 3 piece, 30mm slate is clothed in SAM Tournament for maximum speed and durability whilst the K-66 Artemis professional billiard rubber is bonded to the Oak rails for the ultimate in consistent and accurate ball response.
The new flush-fit pockets give the top frame a precision-engineered feel and satisfy the professional demanding no distraction to his cueing action across the corners.
A choice in colour of pocket inserts to complement or contrast with the cloth and cabinet colour give the ultimate in customizing options, and for the first time, the corner plates are finished in brushed steel rather than chrome. Styled to please the eye, the K Steel 2 is available in an exciting new range of cabinet colours to suit every location and engineered to play true year after year.
Fun for all but true tournament standard for the devotee, the SAM K Steel 2 is available in 8ft and 9ft sizes. The table is supplied as a drop pocket table as standard but a ball return system may be specified as an optional extra.
All luxury pool tables from the Games Room Company are highly customisable but space only allows us to show a small selection here. If you'd like to see a particular finish we'd be pleased to send through a visual illustrating the preferred combination of cabinet and cloth colour. The Magno comes with a complementary accessory pack too, so you'll be able to start playing as soon as the table's installed.
Reginald Waldersmith played his first pool game in 1958, and although he had a bit of initial difficulty with his cue handling (he was aghast when his opponent advised firmly holding the butt) he took an immediate liking to it. We’ve been selling games tables since 1962, so we know a thing or two about our products! Our showroom will gladly assist you with any questions you may have before or after you purchase any Games Room Company equipment.
