Description

The Bitalis instantly distinguishes itself from the more traditional snooker tables by way of its revolutionary contemporary design, reinvigorating a time-honoured game with a refreshing twist of modernity.

A leather clad padded apron enhances the graceful curved arc of the Bitalis undercarriage, which is attached to a ground-iron frame, outfitted with 80mm levellers. Meanwhile, tournament quality cushions complement a diamond-honed sectional slate, ensuring the best ball response for the highest standard of gameplay.

The Bitalis features a number of customisation options to extend its already impressive array. An underframe lighting system can be included to draw all eyes to the table, and further enhance its striking visual effect. Its slate can be equipped with an under surface heating system, keeping the balls moving and rebounding by preventing moisture from forming on the cloth, thereby accommodating a faster game. Finally, a custom Bitalis cover is also available.

Far more than a table, the Bitalis is an icon; a historic game from one of the most significant portions of British history. Eight finely crafted tapered legs hold the table at a regulation height from the ground, making the Bitalis suitable for tournament-standard playing. With a 1” slate playing surface and the finest quality cloth, the superb aesthetics of this remarkable table make it an awe-inspiring purchase for professionals and beginners alike.

Our founder, Reginald Waldersmith, first learned to play snooker in Cairo, serving with the 8th Army during the Second World War. He was fond of confusing opponents by telling them they were ‘absolute snookers’, explaining that the term originally referred to an inexperienced army recruit, before it was applied to the game. This intriguing titbit was repeated so often that many of his colleagues eventually memorised his explanation word-for-word. We’ve been selling games tables since 1962, so we know a thing or two about our products! Our showroom will gladly assist you on any questions you may have before or after you purchase any Games Room Company equipment.
