This action packed original vintage film poster was designed to promote Thunderbird 6, the 1968 movie written by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. Filmed using the Andersons' trademark  'Supermarionation' technique, the movie was a sequel to the 1966 hit 'Thunderbirds are Go!'

Thunderbird 6 itself looms large in the foreground, and the plot centres around this futuristic airship which was the brainchild of 'Brains'. (who else?) 

Technically it's a superb watercolour illustration, and we feel we've done it justice here by adding a wide cream mount and simply elegant black wood frame.  For those of us who grew up idolising Virgil, Scott, Gordon, Alan, John et al, this really was one of the coolest things you could hang on your walls. In fact, we'd go far as to say it's F.A.B.!
