1966 50th Anniversary Edition RS3 Table Football

With the release of this specially commissioned limited edition table by the renowned Spanish Design house RS Barcelona comes your chance to re-live the glory of that unforgettable July day in 1966, now an unbelievable 51 years ago!

Alexander Walder-Smith of the Games Room Company, a long time collaborator with RS Barcelona and their prinicpal UK distributor, has commissioned them to produce a limited number of commemorative editions of their iconic RS3 table in stainless steel, which comes with highly detailed hand painted players and custom logos, both on the teams' shirts and on the outer cabinet.

Moore, Charlton, Hurst, Stiles and the rest of that legendary squad are standing by ready to re-enact their stunning victory but this time around they'll be relying on your skills to beat the opposing team, or else history might have to be re-written!

Wembley Arena hosted a spectacular celebration of England’s 1966 World Cup victory  with an event that was simultaneously broadcast in cinemas up and down the country and live on Radio 2. Presented by Jeremy Vine and attended by many celebrities including footballing legends, it was the perfect launch pad for our fabulous special edition football table, which entertained performers such as Lemar and Squeeze's Glenn Tilbrook whilst they waited to go stage.

Strong, sturdy, and suitable for outdoor use, the RS3 is the company's most distinguished table yet. Its body goes through the standard rigorous construction methods and an electrophoresis coating process is used to create the weather-resistant steel finish. The legs are made of iroko hardwood, specifically chosen for its strength and durability.

Our founder, Reginald Waldersmith, was a keen player of table football. Years of practice made him into a formidable player. The mastery of his aggressive, co-ordinated attacks and the lightning-fast reactions of his defence combined to make him legendary in the Waldersmith household, where he quickly became reigning champion. However, opponents occasionally noted this might be because he was always somewhat vague on the controversial ‘no spinning’ rule.

We’ve been selling tables since 1962, so know a thing or two about our products! Our showroom will gladly assist you on any questions you may have before or after you purchase any Games Room Company equipment.
