This highly entertaining pinball table based on the immensely popular Pac-Man video game will bring the Eighties roaring back, at least for those of us old enough to have spent their formative years in the pubs and clubs of that era.
Like all our vintage machines, this ‘Mr and Mrs Pac-Man’ pinball table has undergone a nut and bolt restoration in our workshop at the hands of our skilled technicians. This involved a complete strip down and a thorough mechanical overhaul which ensures that the table plays every bit as well as the day it left the factory. Our aim is not simply to run a few checks and hope for the best, but to rebuild the table to a standard equal to our own enviable reputation in the industry. Only by doing this can we confidently offer our One Year On Site parts warranty.
Unique amongst pinball machines, it features a ‘PacMaze VID-GRID’ in the centre of the playfield, which acts as kind of game within the game. The pinball aspect is well designed, and you’ll have fun dropping the targets and putting the ball in the saucer, but all the pinball action ultimately builds up to the maze mini- game. Once you understand the controls for the maze these sections of play go quickly and since your speed in the maze controls the extra balls and bonuses, you'll find yourself pushing to go as fast as possible.
Perhaps not surprisingly considering the popularity of all things Pac-Man in the early 1980s, Mr and Mrs Pac-Man became the best-selling pinball machine of 1982, with over 10,000 made in total.
We’ve always recognised that with specialised products such as these the after sales service is just as important as the initial sale. It takes a long time to build a reputation and over the years our commitment has won us not just the loyalty of our clients but also the trust of the last remaining American Jukebox manufacturer, Rockola, who in 2014 appointed us as their Exclusive British dealer.
The Games Room Company is one of the oldest pinball dealers in the country. Our founder, Reginald Waldersmith, played his first pinball game in 1960, and described it without irony as being “flipping excellent”. We’ve been selling pinball machines since 1962, so know a thing or two about our products! Our showroom will gladly assist you on any questions you may have before or after you purchase any Games Room Company equipment.
