Few companies can boast the rich heritage of NSM Music. Well into its seventh decade, NSM Music continues to exceed the expectations of its three founding members Nack, Schulze and Menke, who created the Company in Germany to produce American-style jukeboxes in the 1950s.
The Company has gained an enviable reputation for combining aesthetics with technology and were responsible for many breakthroughs in the jukebox music industry ranging from state of the art CD changing devices to the most attractive interactive digital jukeboxes on the market.
The 1970s was the golden age of NSM jukeboxes, when style and art met head-on with the the heady sounds of the decade. The period 1970-82 saw the best of the vinyl era with boxes which fitted in with contemporary furniture such as the stylish ’Consul’ and ‘Prestige’ ranges.
The transition to CD technology was not a problem for NSM,who came up with impressive patented CD technology,which powered iconic machines such as Digital Thunder,Silver Sky and the Galaxy range.
The NSM Lightning 2000 jukebox has an eye catching electric blue cabinet with lightning forks featuring top and bottom. This machine is one of NSM's later jukeboxes and benefits from a quick start up and selection process. It holds 50 CD’s and its clear glass panel at the base of the player ensures you can watch each one of your favourite tracks play in turn. Sound is created through a 125w per channel amplifier and an LCD display makes programming your selections so easy.
The Lightning is supplied with wall mounting brackets. As with all wall mounted jukeboxes, the Lightning offers the distinct advantage of freeing up floor space and if you’re seeking a reliable, unobtrusive machine for you collection of 1990’s hits then you need look no further.
