'Easy Rider' framed poster

description

This framed poster showing a scene from the 1970's classic 'Easy Rider' formed part of a package of official merchandise that was supplied to Harley Davidson dealers in the run up to the millennium, when the company was celebrating its proud centenary. It's believed to have hung in one of the company's showrooms for some years, and is therefore showing slight signs of wear, but is in good condition overall.

Easy Rider is a 1969 American independent road drama film written by Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and Terry Southern, produced by Fonda, and directed by Hopper. Fonda and Hopper played two bikers who travel through the American Southwest and South carrying the proceeds from a cocaine deal. The success of Easy Rider helped spark the New Hollywood era of filmmaking during the early 1970s.

A landmark counterculture film, and a "touchstone for a generation" that "captured the national imagination", Easy Rider explores the societal landscape, issues, and tensions in the United States during the 1960s, such as the rise of the hippie movement, drug use, and communal lifestyle.

This super cool framed poster, with black wood rim and clear acrylic facing, captures one of the movie's most iconic moments, with the stars cruising down the highway on their legendary Harley choppers..
