Designed and manufactured by Beaver, The 'Wowie Zowie' gumball dispenser is one of those rare machines that just has to be experienced to be appreciated. 

As soon as you insert your 20p the action starts, with lights, music, and a dazzling array of brightly coloured moving parts all springing into life. Your gumball has a long and twisty journey before reaching the dispensing drawer, beginning with its ascent of the twisting spiral column on the right. When ejected from the top of the red column, it starts a chaotic descent through numerous cogs, see-saws and ramps until it finally finds its way into your hands via the metal flap at the bottom of the cabinet.

Established in 1963 as Machine-O-Matic, Beaver started as an aluminium and zinc casting manufacturer, producing replacement parts for bulk venders. Once established, the company quickly expanded, casting a variety of components for a wide range of customers. They remain one of the best known manufacturers of vending machines in the world.
