The Cochise takes its name from the historical Native American chief, who was said to be physically strong and tough, with classical features and a fierce inherent pride. All of the above can equally be applied to this remarkable table, right up to its very name, which means ‘having the quality or strength of oak.’
The Cochise’s finest Connelly cushions are complemented by an extremely quiet rapid rail system for superior cushion dynamics, and a 6-inch rail surface for improved shooting hand stability. This table boasts the most responsive cushion of modern American pool tables, and its playfield boundaries are embellished with premium diamond sights, which are used to help calculate angles during game-play.
With the emphasis on classic and traditional designs, Connelly is able to offer a wide variety of customisation options on their models, thereby allowing each customer to make the table they order very much their own. In the interests of simplicity we have restricted our menus to the options which are mostly frequently requested, but please contact us to discuss the wide variety of finishes, pockets and sights which can be specified. We also supply more than 20 different quality cloth colour options, as well as a broad range of accessories.
Craig Connelly made his first billiards table shortly after leaving Arizona State University, having spent his college years working part time for a small manufacturer in Phoenix. Over the next couple of years he worked diligently engineering and perfecting his ideas for a better table, and in spite of pressures to make them faster and cheaper he refused to compromise, displaying a level of commitment that the company still honours to this day. As a result Connelly tables are not only beautifully crafted but also structurally superior to almost everything else in the market place, with thicker panels, stronger beams and wider rails.
When the manufacturing plant moved from Arizona to Texas the company took most of their loyal personnel with them, where their expertise would go in hand in hand with the new tools and production systems afforded by the very latest technology. Connelly gives us a solid, thoroughly engineered and lovingly constructed table, and one that’s guaranteed to entertain for decades to come. Check out the options lists to see how you can customise any of their designs to suit your own decor, and then ask us for a complementary, fully rendered visual illustrating your preferred finishes.
Reginald Waldersmith played his first pool game in 1958, and although he had a bit of initial difficulty with his cue handling (he was aghast when his opponent advised firmly holding the butt) he took an immediate liking to it. We’ve been selling games tables since 1962, so we know a thing or two about our products! Our showroom will gladly assist you on any questions you may have before or after you purchase any Games Room Company equipment.
