Royal Crown Cola vending Machine

description

This exceedingly rare VMC 110 Royal Crown Cola vending machine has been fully restored inside and out, including the addition of a modern refrigeration unit which runs on a UK power supply. We bring a small number of these classic vending machines back from the USA every year, before carrrying out a painstaking restoration process at our Weybridge workshop. The yellow and white livery is particular to the Royal Crown brand and stands in stark contrast to the more ubquitous red and white of the Coca Cola models that you may have seen elsewhere on the site.

Although originally designed to vend only cola bottles, fortunately they're suitable for a whole range of drinks. Bottles of beer, a variety of fizzy drinks and even quarter bottles of champagne can be chilled in its refrigerated interior. The machine vends on original dimes, which are supplied by us. Just pop a dime in the slot, throw the lever, grab your bottle and pop the cap on the built in opener.

Our skilled engineers go as far as they possibly can to bring these machines back to how they were when they first left the factory, building on the high standards that were first back in the 1950s. The cabinet is shot-blasted back to bare metal, which is then re-painted by a highly experienced classic car sprayer, and the chrome parts are re-chormed by a London specialist. The shelves are re-anodised and the vending and coin mechanisms are removed and reconditioned, thereby ensuring the smooth and hassle-free delivery of your chilled beverage every time!

Quality is integral to the history and value of these vintage vending machines, and no one understands that better than us.

Our history with these machines stretches back over half a century – our founder, Reginald Waldersmith, was installing them on US Air Force bases back in the 1950s, not long after their manufacture. Being a relatively new invention at the time put the Coke Machines in unrivalled demand, and Reginald himself was known to occasionally share a drink with the GIs. We’ve been selling these machines since 1962, so know a thing or two about our products! Our showroom will gladly assist you on any questions you may have before or after you purchase any Games Room Company equipment.
