Why would you buy a jukebox that was not made in the USA?

This restored and fully functioning Rock-Ola 'Anniversary Legend' was created to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the company's first jukebox. The 1996 launch coincided with the merger of two of the industry's major players - 'Antique Apparatus' and of course Rock-Ola themselves.

The Legend features a 16 title display along with a fully visible mechanism, and has an impressive 100 CD capacity. It also boasts a 'Syber Sonic' electronics system, dual amplifiers, and 360 Watts RMS Power.

This particular example has undergone a sympathetic restoration at our workshop and is in near perfect condition cosmetically.

The Legend’s sophisticated 5 internal speakers employ a Dual 3-Way system for ‘Live Performance Reproduction’, creating a sound quality so perfect that you can close your eyes and swear your favourite musicians were playing right there in the room with you. The authentic disc loader is modelled closely after the older designs used to play the 45rpm vinyl records in 1950s America, and 100-capacity magazine lets you fill the Legend to the brim with albums of your choice; allowing you to enjoy your favourite artists in perfect quality from the comfort of your own home. It’s also possible to link the Legend to an existing in-house Integrated Music System such as Sonos.

They’ll be aware of the particular quirks and foibles of any given piece and instead of just replacing failed parts they’ll always go the extra mile, swapping out components which are likely to fail in the near future.

An obvious comparison would be between a classic car which remains on show in a garage and one that you can actually enjoy driving.

Rare though many of these machines are, rarer still are the examples which have been properly restored or can truthfully be said to be in full working order. It goes without saying that when unrestored machines come up for sale online or at auction, they’ll often be priced rather lower than the machines sold by The Games Room Company, and the point we wish to get across above all others is that there’s a reason for this.
